As a Hanseatic citizen and lawyer, my life has taught me that honesty, reliability and loyalty are not only values, but also a solid foundation for my work.

For me, listening is the art of perceiving people, recognizing nuances and reading between the lines. Developing a feel for my counterpart and their situation, recognizing who and what is really needed – I have constantly refined and perfected this over the years.

My career path

I have been working with my clients to shape their companies since 1999.

All my life I have been interested in people and their stories. I asked questions – to the people I met and to myself. Time and again, I have questioned myself, explored new paths and accepted challenges.

Then as now, I was driven by curiosity. I wanted to know what it was like …

... as a highschool student

working on the assembly line at a medium-sized automotive supplier - and experiencing the impact of shift work and minute-by-minute cycles on the psyche and work ethic.

to drive night shifts for years - and immersed himself in many a story of fate as a hobby therapist.

... as a cab driver

... as a young boatbuilding apprentice

working practically with my hands - to realize that this is not for me in the long run.

being "best boy" for a media start-up in Hamburg, including chauffeur for David Hasselhoff (yes, the one, "Looking for Freedom"...).

to open a perfumery in Hamburg's city center - and to understand the luxury goods trade.

in South Africa, Johannesburg, to get to know a new culture, its diversity, but also its injustice.

I was responsible for a team of 20 employees at the Treuhandanstalt in East Berlin and worked with this team to identify and eliminate environmental pollution on the land in the new federal states.

in an industrial insurance company to experience the damage that exploding cola bottles can cause - and how complex and demanding the settlement of the ICE accident in Eschede was.

and the birth of our son, to emigrate with the family to Rome to set up a financial services company there with 12 employees for Mercedes Benz Finanziaria - and then to be threatened by the mafia after 2.5 years (that wasn't funny) and quickly return to Germany.

After these diverse experiences, I found my calling as a headhunter.

Today, my work is supported by a team of four experts led by my wife.

Our experienced team can now proudly look back on more than 20 years of collaboration.

Recruitment across borders

Whilst we have successfully supported companies throughout Germany from our offices in Hamburg and Bavaria for many years, over time our services have expanded to include international markets as well. Today, many of our mandates come from clients in Switzerland, the Benelux countries, and the United Kingdom.

But one market is especially close to my heart: Denmark. That’s not just because of its economic appeal – it’s also become the place I call home.

This genuine connection gives me a deep, firsthand understanding of Danish work and life culture. I know the mindset, the values, and the way of doing business – not from books or occasional business trips, but through daily experience.
